I agree that the story was a ...Good review, thanks. I agree that the story was a bit light, and that I expected a bit more from Moff. But because it is Moff, I liked how intelligent it was: not only was it C.S. Lewis, but it was also "Turn of the Screw." Also, lots of nice touches--the house tour brought a smile, and did you notice the Ponds' front door is Tardis blue? I found Cyril at times annoying and other times fascinating. I didn't find Lily entirely likable, and I love that, that Moff doesn't need to have lovable, cuddly characters. I really enjoyed Madge. I think overall, I enjoyed it, am rewatching now, and think that Moff's strengths are evident here, that the Doctor can be both wonderful and terrifying, often in the same five minutes.
