Explaining the 'death' of Dr. Who: The spoiler to spoil all spoilers

"That's one wet stop for man ..."
If you've seen "The Impossible Astronaut," you've seen ... OK, if you're not up-to-date on the current season of "Dr. Who" because you've fallen behind watching the episodes on your DVR and don't like major spoilers, STOP READING THIS BLOG NOW. (Also, what is wrong with you?)

Still with us? Good.

If you've seen "The Impossible Astronaut," you've seen the death of Matt Smith as Dr. Who. If you've seen subsequent episodes, you've seen flashbacks and several references to his demise. Head writer Steven Moffat has made it clear over and over again: The doctor will die.

To the rescue comes Brendon Connolly, who believes he has solved the mystery, with a little help from the BBC. On Monday, he posted his answer on the Bleeding Cool website. You can read it here

No, we're not going into the details in this blog. The possibility of the spoiler is just too big to risk ruining it for some fans without making them search out the original post themselves. If Connolly is correct, it's pure Moffat, that's for sure.
