Wonder Woman Gets New Origin In DC's New 52

In the new DC 52 Wonder Woman will have a new origin.  So instead of being molded from clay and given life by Aphrodite she will (Spoiler)

be fathered by Zeus and mothered by Hippolyta.  Now this is gonna have a lot of the fans in an uproar but it is a reboot and they are trying things different.  I have no problem with it as it could add a new dimension to the character.  Series writer Brian Azzarello and artist Cliff Chang have teased the fans to expect the unexpected in this edgier and horror take on Wonder Woman.  So far I have enjoyed the 1st issue of the new Wonder Woman and it is a breath of fresh air after that horrible run by J. Michael Straczynski.  Can't wait to see what other surprises are in store for Wonder Woman.
