Happy Birthday The Knights Blog

On April 9, 2011 we posted our first news piece, announcing when the Doctor Who season would begin airing on BBC America.  A few days later on the 12th we began posting on a regular basis and have not stopped.  We have posted 2595 posts in that time ranging from the sad news of Elizabeth (Sarah Jane Smith) Sladen's death to celebrating Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary.



I am very proud of what we have done here, basically taking our long running printed Gallifreyan Gazette newsletter and moving it to the internet.  It has regenerated into something so special and I am glad people enjoy reading and writing our blog.

We have made some minor changes over the years to make it a better site and will continue to do so in the future.  We recently began including more about The Knights, the 25 year old Doctor Who fan club which is the longest running Doctor Who club in Massachusetts. This information includes our current events and activities but will also include some archived material from our past.

Thanks to everyone who has helped make this site what it is today - especially Jeff Zyra and Vernon Hill and I look forward to working with them and everyone else into the future.
