Is Mark Walhberg the new "Six Million Dollar Man"?

Long before Stone Cold Steve Austin ruled the professional wrestling circuit during its Attitude Era, another Steve Austin captured the imaginations of millions of TV viewers every week during the 1970s.

If you are of a certain age, you're probably already remembering the slow-motion action of Lee Majors and the classic introduction to the television series: "Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capacity to make the world's firsts bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better ... stronger ... faster."

Now, an "exclusive" online report from The Tracking Board claims Mark Wahlberg may be next in the bionic assembly line, following Majors, Lindsay "The Bionic Woman" Wagner and the lame 2007 "Bionic Woman" remake starring Michelle Ryan.

Also attached to the project, according to The Tracking Board, are producers Peter Berg and Harvey Weinstein.

This is not the first time a remake was rumored to be in the works. Jim Carrey and Leonardo DiCaprio are just two names attached to previous projects.
