A Kickstarter is being worked on to fund a new
Robotech TV series which will be a continuation of the original series from the 80's. Original creator Carl Macek had worked on
Robotech Academy up until his death in 2010. Harmony Gold, a distribution company which released many anime series in America in the 80's including
Robotech, has launched a Kickstarter to raise $500,000 for a 22 minute pilot episode.
