Batman: Noel (Hardcover Graphic Novel) Review

Batman: Noel
A Hardcover Graphic Novel Written and Ilustrated By
Lee Bermejo

I've always been a fan of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" and when I heard that this Batman story was going to be loosley based on that all time Christmas Classic I had to pick it up and give it

a read. Well I'll have to say that Batman: Noel was a pleasant surprise.  It captured the whole Dickens feel of a Christmas Carol and put a different spin on it.  It was a pretty good story with the Joker as the main bad guy.  The art in this book was fantastic.  It was dark and moody just what you would expect in a Batman story.  Plus the attention to details in the costume and buildings was really pretty awesome.  Just look at Batman's costume and see how every little thing was drawn masterfully.  Lee Bermejo has turned in a masterpiece.  Batman:Noel has some of the finest art that I have seen in a Batman story in awhile.  The story was pretty good also.  If you like the story of Scrooge and the 3 ghosts and Tiny Tim then you'll enjoy Batman: Noel.  It more or less is the Christmas Carol with the cast of characters taking on a Gotham City theme.  I don't want to give to much away but Batman: Noel is the type of book that makes you feel good when you finish reading it plus having a Christmas theme makes it being released now a great time for it.  So if you know someone who is a Batman fan this book would make a good Christmas present.  So if you like Batman and you like the classic Dickens Christmas Carol then this is the book  for you.
