Ben Affleck in Talks to Direct 'Justice League' movie

Sorry, no room for Daredevil, except maybe in director's chair.
Ben Affleck (yes, Daredevil himself) reportedly will discuss directing a "Justice League" movie with Warner Brothers officials, according to Variety. Affleck, in fact, will be the first directorial candidate to see the movie's script, by Will Beall, the site also reported.

It's interesting to note, as Variety does, that Affleck only wants to direct films in which he has a starring role (see "The Town," for example). Does this mean he would be donning the tights to play Batman? Superman? Green Lantern? Wonder Woman? (Just wanted to see if you were paying attention.) The Flash?

Directing "Justice League" would be a long-term commitment for whoever gets the job, since it likely will not be released until summer 2015. Also on that summer's schedule? Marvel's "Avengers 2," with Joss Whedon returning to the director's chair. You may have heard about his first "Avengers" movie.
