I would never waste my own money on a Michael Bay film, but was curious when I learned that my nephew was attending a late show last night. We had the following exchange via Twitter:
Kyle: "At Transformers 3 in 3d ..."
Me: "Is it as bad as everyone says?"
Kyle: "eh, its a typical michael bay: good visual/sound, special effects, action, etc, but lame plot, shallow characters, drags on."
Me: "Not exactly an endorsement."
I'll be seeing it tomorrow with my son and his friend. I've kept the sharp things away to prevent the urge of stabbing my eyes out.
