Captain America upset that he's not in Captain America movie
Don't make Reb Brown mad. You wouldn't like him when he's mad.
Sorry, wrong 1970s TV superhero.
Reb Brown played Captain America in two forgettable TV movies in the 1970s. By forgettable, I mean if I ever saw them, I have zero recollection of them now.
Almost 40 years later, Brown is back in the news, courtesy of TMZ, because he is upset with the creative minds behind the summer blockbuster "Captain America: The First Avenger." He told TMZ that the movie's producers approached his representative about a cameo in the new film, but that they never heard back.
He thinks it's unfair because Lou Ferrigno - TV's Hulk - had a cameo in the 2003 film movie about Mr. Big and Green. Still, Brown is the forgiving sort and says he would happily accept a role in the next Captain America movie.
Marvel, like 99.99% of the rest of the country, reportedly has no idea what Brown is talking about when he claims he was approached, then ignored, about a cameo in "First Avenger."

ReplyDeletedidn't know he was still alive. Hit the convention circuit with other 70's heroes like Hulk, Shazam, and Isis. Loser.
