'Terra Nova:' Steven Spielberg takes the future into the past for the present ... think about it and it makes sense ... really, it does
The year is 2149. Humankind faces extinction. So scientists decide to colonize the past, sending people 85 million years back in time to reboot human civilization. An intriguing idea for a television series from British writer and actress Kelly Marcel.
Having Steven Spielberg as producer should give the show a boost where lesser names might have failed. Special prehistoric guest stars - think big, really big - who have been waiting around for work since the end of the "Jurassic Park" series can't hurt, either.
Tune in Sept. 26 on Fox.
