Manned Mission to Mars - Not a Good Idea - by Ken Parker
First, is there life on Mars? Well, so far, nothing has been proved other than there might have been at some point. But how do we really know for a fact that there is not life on Mars......
No, I didn't mean that Life On Mars.... I meant this type of life on Mars....
Certainly we wouldn't want to provoke any life form into attacking us.
It would appear that Martians of all types are eager for a fight.
If the Martians are advanced enough to remain undetected from our sensors,
then they are advanced enough to wipe us out!!
All we need to do is get their attention, and we are goners. Of course, they might be reasonable beings and won't kill all humans at first sight but we would have to be careful and not get them angry.
It may not take much to tick them off. I may be just a matter of miscommunication or even worse.
We would definitely have to choose the right people for the mission just in case there is first contact,
we would want everything to go well.
Of course our idea of life on Mars may not be anywhere near what we might find.
The form could be the most nightmarish form imaginable....
Not all Martians are cute and cuddly.
As of a matter of fact, the life on the planet could be hard to see at first.
Or more obvious than suspected...
The conditions on the planet are going to be rough. Can a manned exhibition handle it?
There is no atmosphere and so the astronauts have to be careful.
I know what you are thinking. What about all the friendly Martians?
Yes, it is possible but unlikely....
No, the odds are not looking good....
And of course, Mars is the Bringer of War...
Lets just hope we can combat whatever Mars throws at us....
With the latest technology......
And the best people.....
We have a chance.
First impressions are key and so hopefully this first mission will go well.
We wish the men and women of the first manned mission to Mars the best of luck.
