Da Vinci's Demons - Ep 4 The Magician Review
Da Vinci's Demons
Ep 4 The
Magician
This week Da Vinci must
make enough guns to prevent Count Riario from invading Florence. So it’s up to Da Vinci to make more guns to
ward off the forces from Rome but Da Vinci is still distracted by the Book of Leaves
and the statue that is their symbol and what is up with the painting of Lorenzo’s
grandfather and why it fascinates Da Vinci so much?
Well the painting does hold the clue that Da Vinci is looking for in The Magician and unfortunately that is the only interesting thing about this story. I found The Magician to be mediocre and not as exciting as the previous three episodes. It seemed the same as episode two where Count Riario wanted to invade Florence and was turned away by a trick weapon made by Da Vinci. This time it was a fake cross bow that shot a cluster bomb. It pretty neat but we saw this all ready with the canon gun.

Da Vinci's Demons Ep 3 “The Prisoner” Review
Da Vinci's Demons
Ep 3
“The Prisoner”
Review
Da Vinci’s Demons took a
turn towards something different as we got to see Da Vinci’s powers of
deduction. The previous weeks the show
dealt with his obsession with the Book of Leaves and with him inventing
something last week it was the multi canon and the first episode saw the
clockwork bird.
In “The Prisoner” we see
that the nuns have been possessed by the devil or so that is what we are lead
to believe as Da Vinci highly doubts that the dvil is indeed wreaking havoc on
the covenant. This leads to an
investigation for a type of poison that could be causing the effects on the
girls. The problem is the the Pope has sent Lupo there to exorcise the
demons from the nuns by any means necessary.

Da Vinci’s Demons Episode 2 The Serpent Review
Da Vinci’s Demons
Episode 2 The Serpent
Review
The second episode of Da
Vinci’s Demons is actually quite interesting as it involves more about his
quest for the Book of Leaves. He has
another vision that tells him he must find the key. In a pretty grim scene he performs an autopsy
on the man that was hanged. In his
stomach he finds one of the keys and he is curious about what the man was also
hiding and goes to the area where he was captured.
Da Vinci finds out that the
man also had a book that was written in Hebrew.
Da Vinci believes this book holds the key and proceeds to find out what
it is. He is also received a visit from
The Popes nephew Count Riario who seems to have the same interest in the key
and The Book of Leaves. He gets his
information by torturing Nico who spills the beans. Da Vinci also must make good on his promise
to Lorenzo who he is supposed to make weapons of war for but after his first
attempt failed he has only a week to deliver one that works.

Da Vinci's Demons Episode 1 - The Hanged Man Review (Mild Spoilers)
Da Vinci's Demons
Episode 1 - The Hanged Man
The new Starz show Da
Vinci's Demons has arrived and it is about a young Leonardo Da Vinci living in
Florence Italy. It is a story about how
Da Vinci is a free thinker and who speaks his mind. When we think about Da Vinci we don’t think
about him as a hero but that is what this show is exploring and does Da Vinci’s
Demons do a good job of it? I first
heard about this show at NYCC and sat in on the panel with the stars and creator
and thought it sounded pretty interesting. So I was very keen to see this show created by
one of the guys responsible for the Batman movies David S. Goyer and here is
what I thought of the first episode.
