And the "Star Trek 2" villain is Benicio Del Toro playing - Stop Right There, Director J.J. Abrams Says

J.J. Abrams has seen the future.
Space may be the Final Frontier, but the Internet is the Never-Ending Frontier when it comes to movie rumors.

We know "Star Trek 2" will be released in the summer of 2013.

We know it will be in 3-D (groan).

We know Benicio Del Toro will play the villain. Now, thanks to the usually reliable El Mayimbe of Latino Review.com, we know the identity of the villain (spoiler after the jump).

Except, director J.J. Abrams is saying it ain't so.
