It's being reported on sites like Blogtor Who and Kasterborous that Nick Hurran has been tapped to direct the 50th Anniversary story. The story which is in pre production will start filming sometime in April. Nick Hurran announced the news himself while at the Glasgow Film Festival. Of course he did not spill the beans on what the story would be about. Nick Hurran has directed a number of Doctor Who stories mostly for Matt Smith on such stories as The God Complex, The Girl Who Waited, The Asylum of the Daleks and The Angels Take Manhattan.
