Boston Comic Con announced today that former Doctor Matt Smith will be a guest at this years convention that takes place August 11th to 13th at the Boston Convention and Expo Center.  Tickets for the show will be available starting on March 1st. Doctor Who - Karen Gillan and Jenna Coleman To Be Guests At Boston Comic Con

Doctor Who - Billie Piper To Appear At Boston Comic Con

Billie Piper will be a guest at this years Boston Comic Con on July 31st and August 1st.  She will be appearing on Friday and Saturday only.  Photo tickets go on sale June 15th and other tickets will be later.  Tickets for the con are on sale now.

Doctor Who - John Barrowman Joins Boston ComicCon Growing Guest List

Torchwood's Eve Myles To Be A Guest At Boston Comic Con

Since it was postponed due to the Marathon Terrorist Attack The Boston Comic Con has been assembling quite the guest list for its rescheduled show this August.  Along with all the comic book guest they have added and entertainment guests they have now announced that Torchwood and Doctor Who guest star Eve Myles will now be attending Boston Comic Con.  So Torchwood fans of New England and the Boston area here is your chance to meet Eve Myles and attend one of the best Comic Book Conventions on the East Coast. Boston Comic Con Announces New Date and Location

Because of the events of The Boston Marathon Bombing the Boston Comic Con had to reschedule the convention.  Now it has made the announcement that it will be back on August 3rd and 4th at a new location the Seaport World Trade Center. So keep that weekend free and be Boston Strong and support this show.

First, we wish to thank all our fans who supported The Boston Comic Con by demonstrating the highest degree of patience and understanding imaginable during a very challenging time for all of us. And we want to reward you, our fans, by putting on an even bigger and better show than originally planned! We're moving! The Seaport World Trade Center is the new home of Boston Comic Con! It features more parking, easier highway access, as well as a direct stop in front of the venue on the MBTA Silver Line in Boston's historic waterfront district. We have reconfirmed our major comic book creator guests (who have all been wonderfully supportive of us). Let's welcome back... This Weekends Boston Comic Con Has Been Postponed

Because of the events in Boston today the Boston Comic Con has been postponed to a later date.  In a move to ensure the safety of everyone involved it is a wise decision as all the people coming into the city could interfere with the police, state troopers, military and FBI from catching the bastard who tried to ruin our way of life and who killed and injured innocents.   

Here is the official announcement and lets hope they catch this bastard soon.

BCC 2013: April 20 & 21st. Hynes Convention Center, Boston, MA

 

Due to the unfortunate events that have transpired here in Boston, a city wide lock down has been put into effect until further notice causing The Hynes Convention Center to suspend all events until further notice. As such, The Boston Comic Con has been postponed and will be rescheduled to a date sometime in 2013.

All people who purchased advanced tickets on line will have their tickets honored at the rescheduled show. We will notify you of that date. If for some reason, you can not come to the show on that date, we will refund your ticket. 

Please, we ask for your patience, understanding, and cooperation. We appreciate your loyalty, and continued support for The Boston Comic Con. Unfortunately, this situation is beyond our control.

We stand with all Bostonians and hope that current events are resolved quickly and a degree of normalcy can be returned to our city.
