Yesterdays Reveal Bernard Cribbins |
Robin Miller says, "the auction consists of art/doodle donations based on the world of Doctor Who, the weird and the wacky, awesome artworks, doodles and, in some cases, stories. Each one is special in its own way, and is a chance to own a piece of history!"
This is great cause and Robin has been working really hard raising money for charity as he has taking part in road races around the world, including Marathons in Berlin, Glasgow and Chester as well as numerous other smaller events. Later this year Robin Miller will run the full 26.2 miles in Berlin again, as well as two of the biggest half marathons in the world - The Great Scottish Run and The Great North Run. So lets help him out on August 1st and bid on some unique items from Doctor Who.
Here is a quote from the man himself describing what he hopes to accomplish with this fund raiser.
"The ultimate aim of this auction is to help me towards that £12000 target I want to hit by the end of 2012. It's important to me to support the charities I believe in, and through these unique auctions I hope to raise a shedload of cash for them as well as raising the profile of the charities in question. Each of the charities chosen are based on a personal reason, and I hope that my dedication to them, alongside the support of celebrities around the world, can help to make a difference. It's cheesy, but it's true. In this case, Doctor Who is such an institution worldwide that it would be foolish not to use this to boost my fundraising, last years artworks raised over £1000, I'm hoping to beat that this year, and in style!"
So if you like Doctor Who and have some extra money then on August 1st make a bid on some of these items and help out Robin Miller raise money for his charities.
