WTF! No Full Series of Doctor Who for 2012

According to an article on Life, Doctor Who & Combom there apparently won't be a full series of Doctor Who in 2012.  I find that to be a pretty crappy move after confirming a couple weeks ago that there would be.  You can read the full articles here at the website of Life, Doctor Who & Combom.

Doctor Who Renewed for 2012

Over at the Doctor Who News Page it is being reported that Doctor Who will be returning for 14 episodes.  The first of the 14 will be the 2011 Christmas special while the other 13 will make up Series 7.  No word on how Series 7 will be aired if they continue with the format they are in now or like past series show all 13 in a row.  It has also been confirmed that Matt Smith will be in all 14.  No word on who the companion or companions will be.
