MILWAUKIE, OR, FEBRUARY 21—Nearly twenty years after its first publication, the classic four-issue miniseries that teamed two great characters with two great creators, Frank Miller and Walter Simonson’s RoboCop versus The Terminator, returns to print in two formats: a hardcover graphic novel and a gallery edition!

Long before director Christopher Nolan breathed new life into the Batman movie franchise, comic book legend Frank Miller returned the Caped Crusader to his gritty crime-fighting roots in "Batman: Year One."

The 1987 comic was among those, along with Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns," that revived the character, erased the memory of the campy 1960s TV series starring Adam West and directly influenced and led to Tim Burton's "Batman."

Now the two media are coming together. "Batman: Year One" has been developed into a DVD that closely mimics the comic book. Take a look at one of the scenes, above. The DVD will be available for download on Oct. 11 and on DVD on Oct. 18.

Frank Miller To Be A Guest At NYCC

Fans of Frank Miller will be happy to learn that the writer/artist will be making an appearance at this years NYCC.  He will be there promoting his new graphic novel Holy Terror.   Holy Terror is about a super hero that goes to war.  It will be released by   Legendary Comics and will be out this September.
