Based on the Geoff Johns Flashpoint mini series that came out in 2011 and which lead into DC Comics new 52 launch is a story about The Flash and an alternate history of Earth. The Blu Ray arrives in store on July 30th in the US .

Flashpoint Out Today
The five part mini series that DC is hoping to be the book of the Summer Kicks off today. It is written by Geoff Johns (My favorite comic author) and drawn by Andy Kubert (Hopefully it isn't late huh Andy). You can check out a synopsis of the series and download a checklist from this link.

I'm not sure what the series is about but I do know that the Flash is either on a different Earth or that his Earths reality has been tampered with and it is up to the Flash to set things right.
