Three new crew members
arrive to relive the crew on Titan Base.
The problem is their ship flew through a cloud and was infected by the Swarm. They end up killing everyone or infecting
anyone they come in contact with. While
this is going on The Doctor intercepts a mayday from Titan base and decides to
go and help but the TARDIS flies through the cloud and The Doctor gets infected
by the Swarm.
The Doctor fights it off
the best that he can and comes up with a plan to enter his body with a clone to
drive out the swarm from his system. So
the clone Doctor and Clone Leela enter the Doctor and proceed to remove the
swarm from the Doctors brain. They are somewhat successful as the Swarm escapes
from the Doctors tear duct. Now free of
the Swarm the Doctor and Leela and new friend K-9 must come up with a plan to
prevent the Swarm from infesting the entire universe.
