Warner Bros Announces Its TV Guests For Comic Con Including Arrow

Its that time of year again.  Its time for the San Diego Comic Con that big gathering of geeks that happens every year as tons of people line up for hours to see panels and celebrities.  Warner Bros has announced who they are bringing to San Diego on the TV side of things.  So here is who and when your favorites from Warner Bros. will be there.

SDCC - Elysium Promotion

In promotion to Neill Blomkamp's new sci-fi movie, Elysium, a number of posters and displays are showcased at San Diego Comic con this year.  In addition, there is a ship parked in San Diego!

Blomkamp directed District 9.  Elysium stars Matt Damon and Jodie Foster and is planned for a 2013 release.

SDCC - Prometheus Action Figures

After the page break there is a photo of some Prometheus action figures planned for release by NECA.  The figures have three waves planned, first in September and then the next two in November and early 2013.

'Firefly' set for return ... at San Diego Comic Con

Together again - even the dead characters.

This is hardly breaking news, but it is worth repeating. Several sources have reported - and we have confirmed through our own media contacts (yes, we actually have a few) - that this year's San Diego Comic-Con will feature a 10-year anniversary panel with the cast of "Firefly."

Confirmed to appear on July 13 are Nathan Fillion (Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds), Adam Baldwin (Jayne Cobb), Morena Baccarin (Inara Serra), Alan Tudyk (Hoban "Wash" Washburne), Sean Maher (Dr. Simon Tam) and Ron Glass (Derrial Book) will be in attendance. Other cast members who have yet to commit include Gina Torres (Zoe Alleyne Washburne), Summer Glau (River Tam) and Jewel Staite (Kaywinnet Lee "Kaylee" Frye).

Oh, and some guy named Joss Whedon will be there, too.

Since I live in Massachusetts, this is yet another reason that I need to win the lottery - so I can afford to witness events like this.
