10 - New Music – while it did debut during the Tom Baker era, the new arrangement and opening titles for Doctor Who is definitely a huge change. The incidental music was finally becoming better during this time period.

Since it is the 50^th Anniversary I thought it would be interesting to do a top 10 for each of the eleven Doctors.  So this month we go back to the sixties and the very beginning as we compile the Top Ten William Hartnell Doctor Who Stories.

I guess this proves that sci fi fans are smarter than everyone else. Of course, we already knew that.

Or maybe it means we have less regard for copyright laws. We suspected that, too.


TorrentFreak has compiled a Top 10 List of Most Pirated Movies. Eight of the movies on the list have a strong Geek Factor. That makes sense when you think about it. By their nature, sci fi fans generally are going to be better at computers than your average movie fan.

The list is topped by "Avatar," which TorrentFreak estimates has been downloaded 21 million times, followed by "The Dark Knight" and "Transformers," each at 19 million.
