Doctor Who - The Doctor's Revisited Matt Smith Date and Story Revealed

November 24th at at 8PM on BBC America will be the date for the 11th and final chapter in the Revisited series and of course this one focuses on the current Doctor, but not much longer, Matt Smith.  They will also be showing the Series 6 opener The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon. BBC America celebrates the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith, in a new special of Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited. Smith first stepped into the TARDIS in 2010 and will leave the series after starring in the 50th Anniversary Special on November 23 and regenerating in the Christmas special. The Doctors Revisited begins with Matt Smith, Jenna Coleman (companion Clara Oswald), lead writer and executive producer Steven Moffat, among others, examining the human side of this Doctor and taking a look at how all the years he has lived have affected him. The special is followed by the Eleventh Doctor story The Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon.

BBC America's Doctor Who - The Doctors Revisited 9th Doctor Story Revealed

BBC America's Doctor Who Revisited Series continues this month with Christopher Eccleston's last story Bad Wolf/The Parting Of The Ways.  It also features the Daleks and is written by former show runner Russel T. Davies and is the first regeneration story of the New Doctor Who era.  Of course it will have the documentary before it with Steven Moffat, John Barrowman and Noel Clarke among others reliving the 9th Doctor's era. The special airs Sunday September 29th at 8PM on BBC America.

BBC America continues its series of looking back at the classic Doctors this month with none other than Peter Davison.  The Doctor's Revisited will air Sunday May 26 at 8PM EDT.  The special will be followed by the classic story Earthshock from the 5th Doctor's first season.

Classic Doctor Who Returns to America!

BBC America will be airing previous Doctor Who episodes all year in celebration of the 50th Anniversary.  "The Doctors Revisited" series will air one story from each Doctor each month and will start with the First Doctor story, "The Aztecs."  The debut of this first story will be Sunday January 27 at 9pm.

While some PBS Channels still show Doctor Who in America, it is less common than ever.
