With the next TV season almost upon us we see a lot of exciting match-ups in this ongoing and fun battle between Marvel and DC. The tides seem to be slightly changing due to a horrible outing by Fantastic Four but until Deadpool and Batman Vs Superman come out next year, all we really have is what is on TV and that is certainly exciting. This time around I also look at what I think are the most important events for either side in the following year or so.
Marvel hass struck another blow in the Marvel vs. DC battle with Ant-Man. Could Fox be thinking about amping up their own Marvel universe? Besides a couple of TV promotions, DC is sitting this period out I guess. And what's up with X-Men -Apocalypse?
Forget the movies. That particular
battle between DC and Marvel doesn't really get interesting until
next year. Right now the battle is on television and while they are
not really going against each other head to head, it is still
interesting to see how both sides are amping up their game with their
current and future series. There is so much going on right now and I
am not even dealing with the animated series.
David Tennant (Doctor 10) will be playing the villain, The Purple Man in Netflix's upcoming A.K.A Jessica Jones. The series will be 13 episodes long and debut on Netflix later this year. Starring Krysten Ritter (Veronica Mars) as Jessica Jones, the series follows an ex-super hero turned detective dealing with other people with super powers.
