Dr Who Series 6 Soundtrack Release Info

It was announced on Twitter that Series 6 soundtrack will be released in the UK on December 5,2011.  No word on a North America release date but I'm sure it will be shortly after the UK release.  Silva Screens plans on releasing a two disc set.

Who Is The Mysterious Mels?????

The Internet is a buzz over this one.  This character will be seen in Let's Kill Hitler this coming Saturday and rumors have been buzzing.  So far we have her as the next companion, Rory and Amy's daughter who will regenerate into the River we know.  But one thing is certain so far is that she is credited as Amy's childhood friend.  Confused yet.

Things are looking good now that the UK finally has notice of the air date for Let's Kill Hitler.

Steven Moffat Teases 2011 Christmas Special

Acorrding to sfx which has an interview with him in issue 213 (on sale Aug 24) he did reveal this about the special

"It will be as Christmassy as Hell. I might be cleverly redeploying a known Christmas story again, sort of… but probably not the one you think! It will be massively Christmassy and moving and sentimental and sweet. It’ll be set partly on Earth, but not completely. And it might have a period setting…”

Sounds a bit interesting.  In the mean time series 6 continues August 27 in the UK and USA.

Doctor Who Series 6 Episode 10 Titled Revealed

Episode 10 will be called "The Girl Who Waited" and it is written by Tom MacRae who wrote the Series 2 story The Rise of the Cybermen/The Age of Steel. Tom MacRae was quoted as saying

“No one knows anything about my episode… I’m amazed we’ve kept it this secret because there’s a really big surprise in it. All I’ll say is that it’s an unusual episode and really great.”
