Alphas Cancelled By SyFy


The Hollywood Reporter has reported that SyFy will not be renewing Alphas for a third season. The hour long show created by Zak Penn and Michael Karnow centered on a group of people who people with superhuman abilities who come together and solve cases that the government agencies can't solve themselves. Here is a statement from SyFy.

"We’ve been proud to present this entertaining, high-quality series for two seasons and to work with an incredible ensemble of talented actors, producers and creatives as well as our partners at BermanBraun Television. We’d like to thank the show’s dedicated regular viewers for their tremendous support."

  1. #$%$# you SYFY. You can go to #%$. Leave Alphas on a massive cliffhanger you $%&%^&&^%. You used the same &^(%^&^ speech when cancelling all your other real Sci-fi series like Farscape. GO ^%^#$$# yourselves SYFY.

  2. MMM, I am a bit perturbed by this bit of news. Alphas was one of the better series out there and the SYFY Channel has elected to cancel it. Too bad there was such a monumental cliffhanger where potentially most everyone might be dead. Oh, Well, I am sure SYFY has a good reason for cancelling this series and I look forward to their next project.
