The Doctor and Romana make an emergency landing when they came to close to the end of the time vortex.   They end up landing on the planet Barclow which is laid claim by two factions the humans and Chelonians.  The two forces have been at war over this planet for a long time.  The only problem is they have been very polite about it and the two commanders are best friends.  Sounds like the ideal planet for The Doctor and Romana to land on as there doesn’t appear to be any conflict for them to help resolve.  Or is there?  There appears to be a dark force involved that is trying to make the war something more than friendly and The Doctor might not be able to stop it.

The Doctor, Romana and K – 9 have gotten themselves mixed up in a big crime dispute while on The Rock of Judgement.   The Rock is the prison and execution area for the Uva Beta system.  This system is very dangerous as The Doctor has to deal with a maverick law man, a mob group who use the Ogrons as servants and then there is the thing about a possessed mask which melds to your face and takes you completely over.   What is the mystery of the mask and why is it so powerful?   Can The Doctor and Romana save the day again or will they be killed by a psychotic woman wearing a mask.

Doctor Who - Destiny of the Daleks Review

With the return of Davros in The Magician's Apprentice we thought it would be good to look back at some of his Classic Who stories.

“If you're supposed to be the superior race of the universe, why don't you try climbing after us?”

The Doctor is surprised to see that Romana has regenerated into the image of Princess Astra.  He says she can’t be like that and tells her to try again.   She tries a whole bunch of different personas but none of them fly.  She finally decides on looking like Princess Astra and The Doctor reluctantly agrees.   They land on a planet that the randomizer has chosen. The Doctor installed the randomizer to prevent The Black Guardian from finding them.

They land on a planet that The Doctor seems to find familiar. All rocky and looks like a quarry The Doctor and Romana go investigating but earth tremors appear to be happening and The Doctor gets trapped under a rock.  Romana tries to go back to the TARDIS to get K – 9 to help get him out.   The Doctor is soon freed by a group of disco dressed robots called The Movellians.  They take The Doctor back to their ship where they tell him that he is on Skaro.

Romana gets back and finds The Doctor gone and goes looking for him when she falls down a shaft. She is quickly frightened as the tremors start up again and this time the Daleks burst through the wall and quickly capture her and put her in a slave detail removing rocks.  The Doctor asks the Movellians why they are on Skaro and they say they are here to fight the Daleks and stop them from getting to their creator.  The Doctor soon realizes that Davros is still alive and that is bad news for everyone in the universe if he is reunited with The Daleks.

The Doctor has bypassed the Randomizer on the TARDIS to return a couple of library books back to London in 1930.  But all is not what it seems as a biscuit millionaire is hiring assassins and a sea side hut holds a secret that is beyond strange.  The Doctor’s plans might be forced to change as trace of time pollution is detected.  There is also a strange smell in the air a smell The Doctor deuces could mean the death of everyone on Earth.

Doctor Who - The Fourth Doctor Adventures: Series 5 Details

Big Finish has released details for the forthcoming Series 5 of the Fourth Doctor Adventures starring Tom Baker and Lalla Ward. The series will be taking place during season 18.  The full details of the next series is below and it consists some familiar faces or in this case voices.
