Star Wars is getting a bunch of press lately.  I wonder why?  So we have a new trailer and movie posters.

Doctor Who Parody

I am usually not a big fan of parodies but this one, by The Hillwood Show is outstanding.  The amount of work these sisters put into their work is amazing.  The Lord of the Rings and especially the Supernatural are incredible.  If you are a Supernatural fan, you have to watch that one.

 

CW Delivers Early 2015 Renewals for Everything!

Arrow, The Flash, Supernatural and The 100 are among the shows that CW has already renewed for next season.  The Vampire Diaries will have a 7th season while it's spin-off , The Originals will go for its 3rd. Reign will be entering its 3rd season while Supernatural hits its 11th season.  The Flash zips forward to its second season while Arrow shoots for the 4th.

This is fairly early for a network to renew all its shows like this and CW is obviously happy with their ratings.

TV Show Updates - Cancellations, Renewals and New Series

With the fate of a few more shows announced today I thought I would review the status of sci-fi and fantasy shows set for the fall of 2014 and list the shows that did not make it.  Expect the fate of all shows to be determined in the next week or so.

CW Renews Supernatural, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries among others

CW knows what it wants for next season and Supernatural, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Reign are all set for their next seasons.

Arrow will be entering its third while Reign and The Originals in their second.  The Vampire Diaries enters its 6th while Supernatural is, can you believe, be celebrating its 10th season.

Supernatural - Mid Season TV Report

Supernatural (CW) – Tuesdays – some spoilers

Initial Thoughts - I have followed this show since day one and have a loyalty that has stood the test of time with a few not so great seasons. The show has been attempting to go in a few different directions and over the past 2 seasons it has gotten a bit better. This season would continue to follow the problem of angels on Earth that was seen in last season's cliffhanger.

Supernatural Spin-off In The Works

Andrew Dabb, current producer for Supernatural, is working on a spin-off of CW's Supernatural TV series. The pilot takes place in Chicago and it will examine the Hunters and Monsters of that city.  No word on if any characters (Charlie Bradbury perhaps??) from the series will star.

CW Announces Premiere Dates For Arrow, Supernatural and Other Sci - Fi Shows

The CW has announced the premiere dates for their shows for the upcoming fall season and this is when you can expect to see your favorites return.

Monday October 7th Beauty And The Beast's Season Premiere.  
Wednesday October 9th Arrow Season 2 Premiere followed by The Tomorrow People at 9pm.
On Thursday October 10th The Vampire Diaries Season 5 at 8pm.
Tuesday October 15th Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals at 8pm  followed by  Supernatural Season 9

CW Renews Supernatural, Arrow and The Vampire Diaries

Supernatural will be back for its 9th season while The Vampire Diaries for its 5th.  Arrow, which has been one of CW's highest rated series in a few years, is also back for its second season.

Supernatural has done better since being moved to Wednesdays after Arrow. Mark Pedowitz, President of CW stated that all the shows have had great ratings and are doing well socially.  The Vampire Diaries was reecently rated #1 on Trendrr's social program chart in January.

The CW has ordered another season for each of Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries.  Supernatural will be entering its 8th season while The Vampire Diaries its 4th.

The Scariest Horror Series on TV Now

Tis the season to be scared but what can you watch on TV to fit this bill?  Well, you could watch the news and see all the real terrors of our world.  If that is too gruesome (it is for me) then perhaps you can be mortified by all those reality programs such as Big Brother, Survivor and Jersey Shore or even scared by all the lack of talent in those types of shows.  But if you want to escape reality and the ‘fake reality” then cuddle up to one of these series on TV and be prepared to be scared, shocked, grossed out and terrorized.
