Rumors been floating around for a while but the proposed sequel to the 1982 classic appears to be going forward with a director, Ridley Scott. Scott directed the original which many people believe is one of the best sci-fi films of all times. No word on the plot for the sequel other than there is a strong possibility that the character of Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, will not be in it.
