Bobby is severely wounded and is being
taken to the hospital. The fear that we would have to wait a while to
find out whether he makes it or not is gone now that we have one more
episode before that break. What will his fate be?
Spoilers

This part Christmas Carol part Eternal
Sunshine of a Spotless Mind story gives us major insight in why Bobby
is the way he is with looks back to his childhood and his
relationship with his father. The touching memories of Bobby and his
'sons' Dean and Sam are some of the most powerful in the series ever.

My thinking is that if that is indeed
the next episode then if Bobby had died, they may spend too little
time dealing with it and if he had lived, we will be subject to a
quick cop out “You okay Bobby,? Oh good, we gotta go kill some
vampires now..”
Either way it seems from just the
trailer that it may cheapen this story a bit. I hope not and while I
really do not want Bobby to die, sometimes deaths in movies and TV
shows are powerful and moving and are ruined when the victim is
brought back. Of course if he is dead, who's to say he won't come
back and maybe he will come back as a ghost.
Another cop out possibility is Sam's grasp on reality and the fact that he may be imagining everything that is going on but that would be really stupid.
A quick search online shows nothing of
future performances in the show so for now, the cliffhanger will win
until January and that is the good news. We only have to wait a
month for the series to resume.
