Disney has confirmed today that Joss Whedon will be writing and directing The Avengers 2. If you have been under a rock all summer you would know that this will be the sequel to The Avengers to which he wrote and directed to the tune of 1.5 Billion Dollars in movie revenue so it was kinda a no brainer to bring him back.
