'Miracle Day' over before it began? Starz raises doubts about another season

Would you tell this woman her series is not being renewed?
The reviews are good.

The ratings are good

The future? Not looking so good.

"Torchwood: Miracle Day" is performing well with both audiences and critics for Starz. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean the network will order another season of the British sci fi import.

At least, that's what Starz CEO Chris Albrecht told Entertainment Weekly. He told the magazine that everything depends on the imagination of creator Russell T. Davies. If Davies can come up with a great idea for another season, Starz might be interested.

“Torchwood is not one of the show we went into thinking about a yearly return,” Albrecht told critics after speaking with the magazine. “It’s about Russell T. Davies … he has a lot of things on his plate. If Torchwood is at the top of his list, that will effect the future of Torchwood.”

  1. That would be a shame since it has been pretty good so far. But if it takes a year break to come back with another good series I'm all for that also. Don't want them to rush something out that is subpar.
