Emily Blunt, Ruth Wilson on short list of actresses to play Ms. Marvel in 'Avengers 2'

"Avengers 2," no doubt, is one of the most eagerly anticipated movie sequels in film history. With the new movie will come new characters - among them Ms. Marvel.

According to The London Daily Mail, leading the race for the role of the human-Kree hybrid are British actresses Emily Blunt and Ruth Wilson. The movie begins shooting next year and is expected to reunite most, if not all, of the cast from this summer's blockbuster - Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner.
