Tom Clancy Author of Jack Ryan Books Has Died 1947 - 2013
Tom Clancy the man who has written espionage and thriller novels based on CIA Agent Jack Ryan has passed away at the age of 66 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is best known for his books which have been made into a lot of movies with the best being The Hunt For Red October with Sean Connery and Patriot Games with Harrison Ford with a fifth movie due out next year with Star Treks Chris Pine in the role of Jack Ryan.
Tom Clancy has also gained a strong following with video games Rainbow Six, ghost Recon and Splinter Cell. His new book will be released in December and is titled Command Authority. His books are a favorite of mine and the story he weaves were all interesting and made you think. He will be missed along with his works.
